How Shall We Dance Corpus Christi Got Started
How Shall We Dance Corpus Christi Got Started
Shall We Dance Corpus Christi was created by a group of dancers, for dancers, all for the love of dance. Lacey (Swing, Ballroom, Latin) & Doc (Swing), Marcus (Country, Ballroom, Latin, & Swing), Corrie (Brazilian Zouk & Latin), Michael (West Coast Swing), Anna (East Coast Swing), and Kacy (Mega Multipotentialite) met each other at a small local studio and instantly became friends! They all saw a need to welcome and unite the Corpus Christi Country, Swing, Latin, and Ballroom communities, so they brainstormed together to eventually create the SWD CCTX Facebook Group in April 2022.
Since then, the Corpus Christi dance community has exploded with tonnes of new dancers and seasoned dancers trying new things every month! Each of the Dance Genres (Country, Swing, Ballroom, Latin) have grown immensely, and the community leaders have made impactful waves in this area building up the community, TOGETHER AS CCTX DANCERS.
Although many of the OG Crew have had life happen, we are so happy to have lit the spark that became the wildfire of the Corpus Christi Dancing Community ♥ We hope that for years to come, more dancers and community leaders will build and grow the community to become even better and more joyful than before. #ForTheLoveOfDance
